Welcome to the Dusty Riders 4-H Club, we are glad you are here!

The Dusty Riders is one of the longest running 4-H Clubs in Licking County. Started in 1984 by Lori Sharrock and 20 members, as a horse club, we have grown to 38 members and support multispecies and special interest projects. The club moto is "To make the Best even Better!" and "Once a Dusty Rider, always a Dusty Rider!". Our club colors are black and gold. We believe and teach 4-H principles, and work to teach kids (and parents) all about their projects.

Meetings
We meet the first and third Monday of each month from February through August. Our meetings consist of member run business meetings, lesson and fun activities and games.

We accept and support the following projects
Equine
Rabbit
Poultry & Duck
Goat & Sheep
Hog
Cattle
Special Interest Projects (sewing, photography, honey bees and more)

What do we expect from our members:
Each Dusty Rider is expected to show up to at last eight meetings, participate in a fundraiser, and our community service project, and give one report. In return they gain amazing insight into their project, form wonderful friendships, and have tons of fun. Not to mention a $50 year end award for their participation.

What do we expect from our parents?
You are a Dusty Rider now too, and we welcome you with open arms! We do ask our parents and/or guardians participate by paying attention during meetings, and helping with your child, participating in community service projects and fundraisers. We also have volunteer opportunities as "teamwork make the dream work!"

We look forward to our 2024 4-H year and all the wonderful learning experiences, fun and friendships it will bring, hope you join us!
